2 yearsThis morning at about 9.18, I got a call on my home phone. It was one of those recorded messages saying that my bank account had been hit with two big withdrawals - one was £500 from Amazon and the other about £1,000 from some overseas site. It then told me to press 1 to get the money back or press 2 to chat with someone from their team. I recognised it straight away as a scam because I’ve had calls like this before. I’ve now gone ahead and blocked the number on my phone.Amazon2 yearsThis morning at about 9:18, I picked up my landline and got a recorded message saying there were two big withdrawals from my bank account - one for £500 from Amazon and another £1,000 charged on some overseas site.
