This morning at about 9.18, I got a call on my home phone. It was one of those recorded messages saying that my bank account had been hit with two big withdrawals - one was £500 from Amazon and the other about £1,000 from some overseas site. It then told me to press 1 to get the money back or press 2 to chat with someone from their team. I recognised it straight away as a scam because I’ve had calls like this before. I’ve now gone ahead and blocked the number on my phone.

This morning at about 9:18, I picked up my landline and got a recorded message saying there were two big withdrawals from my bank account - one for £500 from Amazon and another £1,000 charged on some overseas site. The message told me to press 1 to get the money back or press 2 to talk to someone on their team. I could tell straight away it was a scam since I’ve received calls like this before. I’ve blocked the number on my phone now.

Got a call on 27/06/2024 around 12:30 pm, from someone near Colchester. They didn’t say anything or leave a voicemail, just hung up straight away. Given what I’ve read about them before, I’d say this caller seems quite risky. Looks like they might be trying to reach more folks in the East of England now.

This is definitely a scam. They claim there’s been spending on your account, but it’s all fake. Don’t push any buttons on your phone! I’ve gotten calls twice this morning from this number, and they’re connected to another one (01749 683970) that says the exact same thing. Be careful!

Totally a scam. Got this recorded message telling me my bank card was charged for a train ticket. I decided to press 1 just to mess with them. Then a guy with an Indian accent picked up, and you could hear loads of background noise like a busy call centre. I told him the accent gave it all away and they just dropped the call.

I just got a call a little while ago. When I answered, there was dead silence on the other end, not a peep - I even tried saying "Hello?" a couple times but no response. I'm on the TPS list, so maybe that's why they stayed silent and then cut off after about 5 seconds? Not stupid, I figured it was some sort of dodgy scam, so I looked up the number to see if anyone else had mentioned it.

Today I got a call that sounded different from before. Some automated woman’s voice told me there was a £900 international fee on my Visa and to press 1 to talk to someone. When I answered, a bloke with an Asian accent came on, asking for my full name and card info. I told him my name was “Ura” and my last name was “Scammer.” He muttered a cheeky swear and then just cut the call.
