I’ve started calling them back from my mobile, but putting 141 before their number to hide my caller ID. They normally pick up pretty fast. When they answer I say, "You’re wasting my time, I’m wasting yours." I repeat this about 10 times. If everyone did the same, maybe they’d get the message??

It’s rather infuriating, as they frequently hang up after just a couple of rings, or if I do manage to pick up, they remain silent. I've taken to calling them back from my mobile, prefixed with 141 to keep my number hidden. Strangely, they tend to pick up rather swiftly. In those instances, I like to respond with, "If you’re going to waste my time, I’ll gladly waste yours." I've done this a good ten times now. If everyone adopted this approach, perhaps they'd think twice about their actions?

I’ve received a flurry of calls today-six, to be exact-followed by another seven yesterday and the same number the day before that. Oddly enough, whether I pick up the phone or let it ring is irrelevant; the caller refuses to leave a message and remains silent if I actually answer. I’ve begun to answer these calls just to ensure they’re footing the bill for their utterly pointless attempts to reach me. It's quite absurd!

I managed to locate the headquarters and gave them a ring to request that my number be removed from their list. The chap I spoke with was genuinely pleasant. However, lo and behold, within just twenty minutes, I received an additional three calls! I’ve now decided to lodge a formal complaint with OFCOM about this nuisance.

I’ve just lodged a complaint with Ofcom regarding these persistent nuisances. Can you believe it? Seventeen calls within a mere 48 hours, with four already this afternoon, and it’s not even 1 o’clock yet! They hang up every single time. In my experience, these folks are some of the most annoying and disrespectful nuisance callers I've had the misfortune to deal with. I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re milking government programs, get in and out fast just to make a quick profit. Sadly, most people end up getting ripped off, and it’s the ones who are most vulnerable who get the worst of it :(. I’ve noticed that whenever I get calls from big phone, internet, energy or grant providers based around North West places like Manchester, Wigan, or Blackpool, the people on the other end don’t really have good customer service skills. You can tell they’re under lots of pressure to get you to book something or say yes to a deal to keep their jobs. That said, from what I’ve seen, none of these companies ever really deliver on their promises, and I doubt they ever will based on how they operate.

So I had a call around half three today, I called back at about half five and this woman named Chanell answered right away. She was asking if I qualified for a free boiler. I said no thanks, I don’t need one. Then she started asking loads of questions like do I already have one? Who’s my provider? When was it installed? When I told her mine was fitted nearly a year ago, she just said, ‘Alright, thanks for your time’ and then ended the call.

Got a call from someone speaking with a Wigan accent, trying to push a boiler on me. When I asked where they got my number from, they said I’d signed up online, which isn’t true. Then I asked for my address and the one they gave was completely wrong. I told them my number’s ex-directory and called them out on lying. They just said ‘Merry Christmas’ and hung up. The whole time they sounded overly familiar and pushy. Feels like a scam to me, no clue how they even managed to get my number. Definitely dodgy.
