I’ve no idea who keeps ringing or what they're after. I leave my BT Aura answerphone switched on all the time so I don't have to deal with those annoying calls. The recorded messages are rubbish quality anyway, so I can't understand them, especially if it’s some foreigner rattling off rehearsed lines way too fast! I usually dial 1471 to see who called and only bother calling back if it’s someone I know. It’s a bit satisfying knowing these pest calls are probably costing them a few bob. Having caller ID on my phone definitely was worth the investment.

This number keeps popping up on my phone loads, like multiple times a day for days on end. It even shows Wigan as the location sometimes. I just don’t pick up anymore, it’s well annoying!

This company called The Hardwick Group says they’re a financial firm or something like that. Even after I told them I’m on the TPS list and begged them to stop calling me, they just won’t stop ringing. Proper annoying.

Got a call earlier and they wanted to chat with my wife, gave me just her first name but wouldn’t share the last. Asked them nicely to take me off their list but this pushy lady from Liverpool wasn’t having it. Told her I know you’re trying to sell owt, not to get my missus, and she kept denying it. I joked asking if you’re just checking if the weather’s alright, but she was dead serious about ringing me again. Really frustrating!

Honestly, I don’t get how folks from abroad manage to work phone jobs when their accent is that hard to understand. On the 23rd of February 2015, at about 12:43pm, I received a call about a loan supposedly taken out with Lloyds Black Horse just last week. I've also had a few calls from 01916719998 about upgrading an account with Lloyds TSB bank, but I don't actually hold an account there nor have I taken any loans with them. I’m really worried about where these people are getting my info from, feels like my details are being passed around somewhere. Towards the end of the call, they asked if my loan with another bank was protected, I answered yes and then they just cut the call. Such a strange experience.
