Initially, I received a call from this number on my home phone, and there was just a complete hush on the line - quite eerie, as if someone was lurking. Then, lo and behold, just after half-past three, the very same number rang my mobile. I chose not to pick up and they didn’t bother leaving a voicemail. It's a right bother, especially considering I use a walking frame to get around!

Got a call from some PPI place, so frustrating! The bloke had a thick accent and there was loads of noise in the background, made it really hard for me to get what he was saying, especially since English isn’t my first language. I’d just put in a home insurance claim and assumed this call was about that. Spent about five minutes going back and forth before I realised he was trying to get me to claim PPI. I tried to politely end the call, but he just wouldn’t stop talking! In the end, I had to hang up myself. Definitely blocked their number now!

dont worry its just a common scam. they call you in the morning on your mobile, you answer thinking it might be something important. as soon as you hear 'credit check' you hang up right away, then they pass your number off to a different dept. Honestly, I cant see how anyone would actually trust these places.
