Got a call from someone saying they were EE, trying to sell me phone deals. The accent made me think it was one of those busy call centres overseas.

I got a call from this number, it turned out to be a Chinese takeaway somewhere in Wigan. The person who answered had an Asian accent, but didn’t really sound Chinese. They claimed they were calling from 3, but I told them I wasn’t with that provider. Then they mentioned something about 3 merging with O2, but I told them I wasn’t with O2 either. Funny enough, I also got another call recently that I reported; that one was linked to a pub in Dartford.
