Got a call from this number, some guy claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. He had an Asian/Indian accent and was saying he had a broadband and data deal that was too good to pass up. When I said I already had a better deal, he chuckled and asked what I was paying. I told him that’s none of his concern, then I joked that I was actually the CEO of Carphone Warehouse (which I'm not). Weirdly, he said sorry and ended the call right away 🤷‍♀️

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. He said there was an iPhone deal for £35 a month with unlimited calls, texts, and data. I had trouble understanding him and couldn’t get clear answers about changing the contract, but he kept saying it’d be fine. When I told him I was paying £5 a month, he insisted it could be £4 instead. He was a bit pushy, so I just stuck to saying £5 to try and end the call.
