Got two calls back to back, one at 8 in the morning and another at 8.14, but from different numbers. Gave them the same reply and told them to buzz off. Don’t fall for their tricks! Foam loft insulation isn’t actually regulated, and from what I’ve heard, banks won’t approve mortgages on properties that have it.

This number rang me yesterday out of the blue. The bloke was on about insulation for my loft and warned that mine might be causing damp up there. He said if I was eligible, they’d send an ‘engineer’ over, maybe fit it free of charge. I had an awful feeling it was a dodgy call straight away. Asked him the company name and where they operated, so I could look them up first, but he didn’t want to give me any details and tried to get my info. Then he just hung up! Definitely felt like a scam to me. I’ve blocked the number now. Watch out!

Received a dodgy phone call from someone claiming to be "Luke," a so-called local energy advisor. He was trying to set up a complimentary loft insulation check. I couldn't help but notice his thick Asian accent-definitely raised some red flags!

Phone rang for just around 20 seconds and I didn’t pick up. Checked this site straight away and yep, it was a scam. From my experience, scammers usually buzz you briefly then cut off. So I’ve blocked the number and sent the details to the proper authorities.

This guy claimed he was an energy consultant covering our neighbourhood. When we told him we were tenants, not the owners, he just hung up on us! Proper rude that.

My phone rang, but it was one of those calls where the answering machine kicks in straight away. The person on the other end just hung up right after, no message left. When it's someone genuine, they usually drop a voicemail, so yeah, pretty sure this was a dodgy caller.
