I reckon that fellow with the Indian accent is up to no good. He posed as a representative from Amazon and asked for payment regarding an account that, quite frankly, I don’t even possess.

I got a phone call from someone saying they were with Amazon, telling me there was an iPhone bought on my account and asked what I intended to do. I checked my online account straight away, but there was no sign of any order. I just ended the call, but then the same person rang me back three times from different phones: 07540 263932, 01204918034, and 01204918032.

Heads up everyone, there’s a dodgy number from Birmingham going around trying to get you to hand over your personal and bank details. They sometimes claim to be from Consumer Direct about loans or debts, but it’s a complete con. Most people have said it’s just silent calls. Best thing to do is block the number straight away.

this guy neil gretins called me the other day, sounding like he had an indian or pakistani accent, saying he was from amazon and wanted me to pay for some account i’ve never even heard of. kinda feels like a scam to me.
