I received a curious call from someone purporting to be from an insurance company, claiming they needed to discuss the policy of Mr and Mrs Rees as their renewal is approaching in October. The trouble is, Mr and Mrs Rees happen to be my late parents. The policy has been under my name, Williams, for quite some time now. They inquired about whether there had been any alterations concerning the property and its contents, but I was rather hesitant to divulge any information. Instead, I told the caller to send me a written correspondence. It struck me as rather odd, considering my parents are no longer with us.
