This number 01938 481158 from Welshpool, Wales has been ringing me loads. I never pick up cause I’m always at school during their calls, but today I did. As soon as I answered, they just hung up after a few seconds without saying a word. Seems like they want me to call back or something. No way I’m falling for that, definitely looks like a scam.

We were expecting phone calls from the hospital about a family member who was very ill when this guy kept ringing up about some internet issue. After a few mins I cottoned on it was all rubbish and just ended the call. He rang a dozen times! Proper annoying timing with everything else going on.

The phone rings, I pick it up, and then they just cut off.

Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent saying she was from BT, offering to fix my computer problems. I told her I’m on the TPS list and asked for her full details since I was planning to report it to Ofcom. She then said she couldn’t give me the info and claimed she’d connect me to her manager. Right after that, the call just dropped out! What a surprise!

My elderly mum got two calls from this strange number but didn’t answer since she didn’t recognise it. She then asked if I could find out who it was.

Someone rang me claiming to be from BT. I told him I'd only chat if he could answer all my security questions first. He got really irritated and kept repeating the same script. After going through it about four times, he just laughed and said "maybe another time" before hanging up. Definitely wasn’t BT!

Over the last few days, I've had several calls, mostly from India about our internet connection. Some of the calls were just dead silence and they cut off straight away. Quite annoying really.

Received a call this Saturday morning around half eight from a lady claiming her name was Sally. She inquired about the performance of my Internet connection. Then, without warning, the line went dead. Quite peculiar!

I've had calls from these people twice this week. The first time, a bloke with a strong Indian accent saying his name was Charles rang me, which made me suspicious straight away. He claimed there was an issue with my internet, so I just hung up. The second call was just complete silence. Definitely dodgy.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Virgin Media’s fraud team saying my router was hacked and I was going to get £100 back. Then they asked me to log into my bank to check for the refund, which set off loads of red flags. I ended the call straight away and rang Virgin Media myself, who said they had no idea about any of it. Definitely a scam.

They claimed to be from BT, but what a load of nonsense that was!

I keep getting calls from them saying there's a problem with my internet. I told them I don’t even have internet, and they just hang up. Then they ring back the very next day with the same nonsense.

Some bloke rang me, saying he was from BT and that my internet had issues. I told him I’m on the TPS but he just brushed it off and kept insisting I get on my PC. I let him ramble on to himself after that. What a muppet, does he really think I’m that gullible?

Got a call from someone with an Indian accent who claimed there was an error with my router. I tried to ask what exactly was wrong, but he didn’t really seem to get my questions. Then they just ended the call.

Got a call from a woman saying she was with BT, said there was an issue with my router. They kept ringing me nonstop, always about problems with the router or my computer. Best steer clear of these calls.

I received a dodgy call regarding supposed issues with my broadband. The lady on the line seemed rather clueless about the matter. Her accent suggested she was from India. This appeared to be an obvious ploy to gain access to my computer and likely charge me for resolving a non-existent problem.

I've been receiving incessant calls from this number throughout the day, which appear as international on my caller ID. It's rather bothersome, to say the least. Is there any way to put a stop to these calls?

this person had a really strong indian accent and they said they were calling from my internet company, trying to get remote access to my computer.

Got a call from someone saying they were with my broadband company, saying there was an issue with my router. They kept asking if they could connect to it to sort it out. Honestly, how thick do they reckon I am?
