Yet another wave of dodgy phone calls, it seems. I’ve decided not to return their calls.

The person who rang me from this number spoke so unclearly that I had to hang up as I couldn't make sense of it at all.

I received a call that displayed Wetherby as the location, but the moment I picked up, they disconnected straight away. I’m pretty certain it was a scam call.

Received a call today from 01937387307, which appears to be from Wetherby. I decided not to pick up, but after glancing at the reviews on this site, it seems likely it’s some phoney pretending to be from the HMRC or possibly a sales pitch for a shiny new mobile! I've now added them to my blocked list.

Purporting to be from Vodafone, but honestly, the customer service was shockingly lacklustre! I kept getting interrupted while they relentlessly pushed for an iPhone 14 upgrade, which raised major red flags for me — it felt more like a scam than anything legitimate (I've had authentic Vodafone calls on similar matters before). Interestingly, the number traced back to Wetherby, England.

Received a call from 01937387307 this morning while I was in a queue, but the reception was dreadful, and I couldn’t make head or tail of what they were saying. In the end, I hung up and decided to see if anyone else had encountered the same number today. Glad I did a bit of sleuthing beforehand rather than ringing back!

Received a call that was supposedly from HMRC, informing me about a tax refund waiting for me. They provided a link to access it. The thing is, I don’t even pay taxes! Definitely feels like a scam – keep your wits about you!

I received a call from 01937 387307, claiming to be from Carphone Warehouse. As soon as I heard them out, I recognised it as a scam and promptly ended the call. Clearly, this so-called company is entirely fictitious!

I found it quite concerning that they had access to my name, address, and postcode. When I mentioned that I would be handing the call over to the police, she abruptly ended the conversation. It’s about time that action is taken regarding these nuisance calls, particularly for those who might be more at risk.
