Got a call from an Asian lady claiming she’s from BT, offering two years free line rental. She asked me to provide the full credit card number and then to flip the card and read out the last four digits. Then she handed me over to her manager, also Asian, who was really pushy. He kept insisting that once I gave him the full card number, he’d send me a confirmation letter. This went on for about 10 minutes until I ended the call. Tried ringing back and the number was dead, saying it doesn’t exist.
