Got a call from a woman with an accent, claiming to offer free calls for three months through some BT billing deal, but only if I verified my info first. I’m not even a BT customer, and this was the third time in two days I’d had this exact call, so I knew what was going on. I played along until she asked for my bank’s name, then asked her if she actually thought I’d fall for it. She quickly got rude once she realised I wasn’t falling for the scam.
