Earlier, I got a call from someone named Kevin, which surprised me as it's not a typical Indian name. He claimed there was a hacking issue with my broadband line and insisted that I input a code on my computer to resolve it. Sensing something fishy, I decided to stall by asking him to wait for a moment. I moved away from the phone, a few steps away, and began softly chanting under my breath. After that, I returned to the call, apologized for the delay, and shared that I am actually a practicing witch. I mentioned that I had just placed a curse on him, warning that a close family member of his would pass away suddenly within the next six weeks. With that, I promptly ended the call.

Received a telephone call from an individual identifying himself as an Indian representative from an energy company. He claimed there was a technical issue related to my name and address. This is undoubtedly a fraudulent scheme and must be addressed immediately.

It seems that I received an apparent prank call on my mobile phone. The person calling used my first name and claimed to be from First Response. I quickly ended the call and attempted to return it using both my mobile and landline, but there was no response.

I decided to end the call and hung up. To my surprise, the same person called me back and began shouting at me. I calmly told him where he could go and ended the call once again. He identified himself as "William" from somewhere in India. Naturally, I took it upon myself to contact BT to inquire about any reported issues or scams associated with these types of calls. As expected, there was no record of such a call ever being made.

However, I firmly refuted their accusations, emphasizing that I had done no such thing. In response, they quickly apologized for the misunderstanding and abruptly ended the call.
