Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT engineers saying my internet was hacked. They said they were calling to fix the problem. I just replied "oh really?" He claimed the scammers were based in China and using my connection. When I asked for my name, he said "Mr Wood" which is totally wrong. Then I asked for my address, and he gave a different one. Told him straight up he was a scammer. He insisted he wasn’t and blamed the Chinese scammers. Ended the call there. Tried calling back but no answer, shocker!
