i got a call from some random number, they said they could stop all those annoying telemarketers for me. i was like "sure, sounds good," but then they just ended the call outta nowhere. bit odd, really!

Got a call from someone saying they were with BT, offering to block all nuisance calls forever. If they really worked for BT, they’d know the proper name on the account, but they didn’t. The caller was a woman, sounded Asian, probably from some call centre. At first, there was dead silence, then faint music playing quietly in the background. I told her straight up she was a scammer, but she kept saying she was from BT. Told her BT would always send letters by post with any updates. I already have the BT call blocker anyway.
