Got a call from someone claiming to be with BT. Asked me straight up to confirm my name, which felt odd since they’d rung me first! They said it was about my BT account, but the thing is, the account isn’t in my name, and BT normally won’t chat to me about it anyway. When I told them I wasn’t the account owner, the person kept insisting I was. Then, as soon as I pushed back, they started rattling off something in a language I didn’t understand and just ended the call abruptly. Proper strange.
