Screwfix main office messed me about. I made an order and they asked for my address, full name, and dob to verify on some electoral register. Since I recently moved, my address wasn’t showing up, so they also wanted my driving licence number. Felt dodgy handing over all that info on the phone to people I didn’t even know. Visiting Screwfix Direct in Stoke-on-Trent has been quite the ordeal. Give them a ring, and you’ll find yourself bouncing from one department to another, causing you to question your sanity. You might finally reach someone who genuinely seems to grasp the issue you’re inquiring about, but, alas, they’re usually unable to provide any real assistance. It’s enough to drive anyone to despair!
