Just got a message from some lot claiming £300 was taken by Amazon and then another £1,100 through Western Union. They said to press '!' to chat to them - obvious scam, right? I’ve seen the same dodgy text before from a Prontifact number but this time it was from Yeovil. Total con artists.

I have encountered these individuals multiple times, and it appears they simply switch their phone numbers periodically. They seem to operate out of Goldcroft in Yeovil, Somerset. Their current ruse involves claiming that Amazon has charged £300 and £1,100, urging you to press 1 right away to connect with a so-called advisor. Interestingly, I received a similar fraudulent call from a number in Pontefract just a fortnight ago.
