5 yearsI recently received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from HMRC, using the number 01934 722792. The chap introduced himself as Justin Holliday. Oddly enough, his accent was quite peculiar-sounded very much like he was putting on an Indian twang. When I remarked on his unusual accent and suggested he didn’t quite sound like a "Justin," he promptly hung up on me! What a shame, as I was looking forward to toying with this fraudster and dragging out the conversation for as long as possible. Now, I did a bit of digging, and there's indeed a Justin Holliday at HMRC, but he's quite different in appearance. Clearly, this was just another scammer masquerading as him.
