This number kept calling me a couple times each day over nearly a week, even on the weekend, but never left a voicemail. Because it looked like a local caller, I decided to ring back out of curiosity. An automated message came on saying it was the NHS calling, and there was nothing I needed to do, but they’d be in touch again within 24 hours. The calls have now ceased, and judging by what others have said, I’m guessing this is actually from the NHS and my appointment is still all set.

Honestly, I reckon it was the NHS calling, but I can’t get why they think these calls are even helpful. Such a pointless use of time and money. They didn’t even leave a message, so I haven’t the faintest what they were after.

Got a voicemail about a 1pm appointment at the main outpatient, but there was no mention of which hospital it was for. When I rang back the number, they just said they'd contact me within 24 hours, but didn't say which number they'd call. Honestly, it felt like a complete waste of time. NHS is just piling on pointless costs. They should ditch all these admins and focus on proper healthcare instead.
