Yesterday I got a call from what sounded like my bank, but it was one of those automated messages. It said someone had just spent a lot on my credit card and asked me to press 1 if it was me or 2 if it wasn’t. I reckon the scammers actually want you to press 2 so they can get clever with you after that. Best thing is to just hang up and block the number straight away.

Got a voicemail saying it was from the bank, telling me a payment had gone through my Visa card in the last quarter of an hour and to press 1 if it wasn’t me. Obviously a dodgy attempt to steal my bank info.
