Got a call from someone claiming to be with BOC, saying our gas equipment was unsafe and needed a check straight away. They insisted on speaking to the business owner right away and wouldn't send any info by email. Really pushy bloke and got annoyed when the owner wasn’t available.

I got a call from someone claiming they were with BOC, saying there’s some urgent health and safety inspection needed for their gear. Sounded pretty convincing at first. They couldn’t give me an email to follow up or even send one, which was odd. The phone number wasn’t even linked to BOC. They kept saying their records said the check hadn’t been done, but we always use an independent company for those, so how would BOC even know? Definitely not legit and not connected to BOC at all.
