I received a call from someone purporting to represent "Peoples Energy," trying to sell me on an energy survey of sorts. The woman on the other end was quite forceful in her delivery. Her accent was distinctly foreign, and her manner was quite assertive, making the whole interaction rather uncomfortable.

I keep getting calls at work from 01933811794 with someone asking for a Jemma, saying she put us on a subscription for a magazine. We’ve told them multiple times there’s no Jemma here and to stop calling as we aren’t interested and want removed from any mailing list. But they won’t listen and keep ringing, still asking for Jemma. When you ring the number back, it’s just an automated message saying it’s a call centre. Really annoying!

Utterly ridiculous! These pests seem to be relentless, bombarding me with calls on my work line, home phone, and mobile. They insist I’ve expressed some kind of interest in their offerings and are keen to push their sales pitch. The only solution I’ve found is to just block them across the board.

Somebody rang saying they were from Drives & Controls mag and wanted to update my info. I wasn’t about to hand over anything though, kept quiet. She kept asking me to confirm my email, and when I asked why I wouldn’t share, I just mentioned GDPR. After a bit of back and forth and no info from me, she just ended the call. Gotta admit, she was pretty persistent lol!

Then she just hung up. After that, Tiffany called again from 01933 811 793 and 01933 811 792 with the same story.

Told him there was no way I'd connect him but he could email something over and Id forward it. He then said he couldn’t email, only direct calls, which made me wary.
