Got a call the other day from some number with an 01933 area code, and a person with a strong Asian accent telling me my broadband was going to be cut off unless I sorted something out. When I pushed back a bit, they hung up straight away. Now, I’m getting these automated calls claiming to be from BT - it says I have to press 1 to avoid my broadband being stopped in 24 hours because my IP address is supposedly hacked. Sounds proper convincing but it’s definitely a scam, especially for anyone who might believe it. Don’t fall for it!
