Phone number ☎️ 01933681122 👆 is reported as a scam call pretending to be from a bank’s security team, warning about suspicious transactions but not specifying the bank or card type. The caller uses an automated British female voice and urges recipients to press numbers to authorise or speak to them, yet offers no real way to verify their identity. Many users note it’s likely designed to confuse or frighten people, especially older or vulnerable individuals. Attempts to speak with a real person on the line go unanswered. Overall, it comes across as a suspicious and untrustworthy call aiming to trick recipients rather than provide genuine assistance.

3 yearsGot a call at 9:34am on the 13th October 2023. A robotic British woman's voice said she was from the “Bank Security Department” but didn’t mention which bank. She told me there’d been two charges on “your card” - didn’t say what kind of card - one for £300 on Amazon and another £1,000 sent as an international transfer. They claimed these might be fraud (bit ironic, considering the call itself!!) and told me to press 1 to approve or 2 to talk to someone (yeah, right!). Total scam. Sounds believable enough that it could easily scare older or vulnerable people though!Bank Security DepartmentAmazon3 yearsThey said they were from Visa’s security team in a text, but when I tried calling back to find out which bank they were with, no one picked up. I reckon only your real card company would bother to get in touch like that.VisaSubmit Your Own Report (01933 681122)
