I got a call from someone saying they were with MCE insurance and somehow they already had all my policy details. They wanted me to update my bank info, but after I gave it to them, they said their system was being updated and promised to ring back in half an hour.

I got a call from someone saying my insurance payment didn’t go through because of some system update and asked if they could charge my card straight away. Thing is, I just checked and saw my direct debit had already been taken like normal, so it felt dodgy. They did know the exact date and sum, which was a bit suspicious.
