A bloke called, said his name was Alex but then just cut off. After that the line wouldn’t even ring, just stayed dead on the dial tone. Feels like he was hoping I’d ring back, maybe a sneaky premium rate trap or summat.

Someone called about loft insulation. It was hard to tell if it was a real person or just a robot checking my answers with random "alright?" prompts. The replies I got didn’t really add up, so I figured it was probably some sort of automated system. I stopped answering one of its questions to see what would happen, and it just ended the call.
