Got a dodgy call claiming to be from Amazon again. This time an automated voice says my Amazon Prime will be renewed for £39.99, which is totally off - nowhere near the real price. They tell you to hit 1 if you want to cancel. Don’t fall for it, just hang up straight away. Best move is to block the number, but these con artists are clever - they keep ringing from different numbers, usually with local sounding areas like Preston or Carlisle, but I reckon it’s a trick and they’re really operating from abroad, maybe India or somewhere similar.
