They said they were from MCE insurance, but you could hear loads of background noise like a call centre. They had some correct info, but kept messing up the name of my car. Plus, I wasn’t even certain it was about insurance, so seemed dodgy all over. I just hung up. Cheers for leaking my info, MCE or those comparison websites.

I didnt pick up when they called. After searching the number online, I found it was linked to MCE Insurance, which apparently stopped operating back in Jan 2022. I used to have insurance with them but stopped way back in 2019. Seems too fishy to be just chance, so I reckon someone’s cracked and bought out MCE’s number and maybe their client info. Looks like a proper dodgy scam to me. Great stuff.

A lady said her name was Megan and wanted to talk to me directly. I wasn’t quite sure where she said she was calling from, so I ended the call. Reading earlier comments, sounds like it might have had something to do with MCE Motorbike Insurance. As far as I know, MCE stopped operating a few months back.
