didn't pick up the phone cuz I didn't know the number, so I looked it up here and felt a bit better seeing others had the same experience.

Got a call from this number again, claiming my router and IP address are at risk. It’s some robot voice saying to press one if I wanna speak to an “engineer”. They seriously must think I’m daft or something! This is the third time now.

Got a voicemail with some American accent telling me my internet was at risk and I had to change my IP address. They told me to hit 1 to chat with an engineer. If I'd actually pressed that, I reckon it would have taken me to some pricey premium line.

Im not really sure this was legit, some guy with a really weird accent said my internet was hacked and that id have to get a new IP address. I told him i was tied up and asked for his number to call back later, but then he just hung up on me!

I got a call saying my internet was hacked and they had to switch my IP address. I pressed 1 like they asked, then some guy with a weird accent started talking. Didn't feel right at all, so I just ended the call.
