10 yearsReceived a rather dodgy call out of the blue, claiming to provide a 'complimentary' upgrade for my television insurance. They seemed convinced that I was forking out about £7 a month for coverage and fancied offering me a 'superior' deal-new telly if the current one packs in, mind you-for a mere £5 a month. They then attempted to pry my bank card details from me, asserting they would arrange a fresh Direct Debit while I should just terminate the existing one. I firmly informed them that I had no intention of shelling out anything more for TV insurance.Direct Debit10 yearsGot a random call about a “free” upgrade to my TV insurance. I was under the impression I was already paying about £7 a month, and they claimed this new deal would give me improved coverage - like replacing the TV if it broke down - but only for around £5 a month. Then they asked for my bank card details, saying they’d arrange a new direct debit and I should drop the existing one. Felt a bit dodgy, if you ask me.10 yearsbefore i got a chance to pick up the phone, the person calling ended the call. i found the number using bt 1471.BT10 yearsI missed a call from this number and gave it a ring back, but it just said the number wasn’t recognised.
