She claimed to be representing Amazon and asserted that she needed to verify my identity due to some dubious activity on my account - specifically, an alleged order of £680 for an iPhone. It was quite clear that she was attempting to pull a fast one. I refrained from engaging and didn’t press 1 as she requested.
