I've had quite a few calls, over ten now, coming from different landline numbers and even some overseas. The caller uses this typical American accent, telling me there's an issue with my internet. It’s really unsettling, and I wonder what BT is doing to tackle these scams since their customers seem to be targeted a lot. It could easily frighten people who are more vulnerable.

Got a call from 01932841507 earlier today, this American woman with a really robotic voice claimed she was with British Telecom. She said my internet was going to be disconnected today. Bit dodgy if you ask me.

This annoying robotic american voice popped up again, saying the same BT message. I’ve been getting at least 8 of these calls over the past 10 days, all coming from different landline numbers. It’s so frustrating and I haven’t a clue how to stop it. I tried the telephone preference service but it doesn’t seem to make any difference. Has anyone got any tips?

I just got a voicemail from this number claiming it's from BT, saying if we don't press 1, our internet service will be cut off in a day. Thing is, we don’t even use BT at all.

Absolutely terrible experience, stay clear of these calls! They try to access your computer and swipe your info and cash. Really not worth the hassle.
