Got a recorded message claiming to be from BT saying my internet would be cut off today unless I pressed 1 to talk to a techie or something. Weirdly, the voice didn’t have an Asian accent like most scams, so it came across as more believable. Of course, it’s just another con. Honestly, BT and other companies really ought to put some cash into creating tech that can block or track these fraudsters so they actually get caught.
