I picked up the phone and responded without really processing who it was, then the line went silent. I’m quite keen to find out who these individuals are, as they rang just three minutes after another company that constantly pesters us.

I received a call from 01932701530, and as soon as I said "hello" a couple of times, they just hung up. There was definitely some background chatter, which was quite clear. This follows a string of calls I've had lately, all from numbers asking for strange names. Quite peculiar, really!

I've had a rather curious encounter with a chap by the name of Phillip Spencer, who purportedly works for a company called Hadley St. James. He mentioned something rather peculiar about her stride measuring a metre and boasted about offering a hefty discount. Strangely enough, he provided me with a quote for carpet cleaning without even using a tape measure, and the price he quoted was quite out of the blue. To add to the oddity, the ‘discount’ of roughly 30% was only valid for a mere two days while he was supposedly in the area, but the higher price quote was magically good for an entire year! Quite the puzzling situation, I must say.
