Somebody rang me, claiming to be from EE, but when I fed them rubbish about my account and payments, they clearly had no clue what was going on. They started trying to persuade me about a “better deal”. I ended the call sharpish, but these idiots just kept ringing back. The numbers were all 01932 but with slightly different endings each time. Then I even got a call from Malta. If you get calls like this, be warned - it’s definitely a scam.

Do yourself a favour and block this number right away. It’s incredibly dodgy. I received a cold call from a man with a southeast Asian accent, and he made some horrifically inappropriate remarks. I promptly hung up. Unfortunately, they bombarded me with calls while I was trying to navigate through my contacts to block them. They then switched to a different number, also linked to Weybridge, and kept ringing me - I wisely ignored that and blocked it too. Next thing I know, they were reaching out on WhatsApp, bombarding me with messages and video calls from a number traced back to Pakistan. I reported and blocked that one as well. I'm convinced they’re employing virtual numbers since none of these seem to correspond to their real location. I've alerted the police and OfCom, and even had my phone provider assign me a new number. It’s also worth noting I had an earlier cold call that very day from yet another number, registered in Ashbourne. It was a man with the same accent, trying to scam me by posing as someone from EE, asking for payment details. I told him I wasn’t an EE customer and requested he stop calling, and then hung up. Oddly enough, nothing in that conversation justified the harassment I faced later on. Still, it’s quite a curious coincidence to receive calls from similar area codes and voices just hours apart.

They claimed to be calling from my phone company but I didn’t buy it. Ended the call right away.

Got a call from this number but they just cut off straight away.

They call almost every day but use a different number each time, which makes blocking them really tricky.
