Somebody rang me, claiming to be from EE, but when I fed them rubbish about my account and payments, they clearly had no clue what was going on. They started trying to persuade me about a “better deal”. I ended the call sharpish, but these idiots just kept ringing back. The numbers were all 01932 but with slightly different endings each time. Then I even got a call from Malta. If you get calls like this, be warned - it’s definitely a scam.

Avoid answering this number at all costs. I got calls from a man speaking with a Southeast Asian accent who made inappropriate remarks. I ended the call quick and tried to block him, but he kept calling again and again. Then he switched to a different number linked to Weybridge and kept ringing me, so I didn’t pick up and blocked that one too. After that, the harassment carried on with messages and constant video calls on WhatsApp from a Pakistani number, which I had to report and block. I think they're using fake numbers since none showed their real whereabouts. I alerted the police and Ofcom, and in the end, had to get my phone number changed by my provider. Earlier that same day, another man with the same accent called pretending to be from EE, trying to get payment info - he was calling from an Ashbourne number. I told him I don’t use EE, asked him to stop, and hung up. Nothing I said deserves that kind of treatment later, but getting calls from similar area codes and that accent a few hours apart just can’t be a coincidence.

They claimed to be calling from my phone company but I didn’t buy it. Ended the call right away.
