The phone rang three times consecutively, and the caller claimed to be from O2. However, it's clear this wasn’t a legitimate number. It’s just a clever ruse!

Got a call from someone purporting to be from O2, insisting they could trim my monthly bill by a whopping 40%. Given that my bill’s not much over a few quid, it raised my suspicions straight away. After the first call yesterday, I've been inundated with more calls from various spots like Cheltenham, Manchester, and even London. It’s blatantly obvious they’re trying to hoodwink someone.

Got a call from a number labelled as Weighbridge 019320689697. I’m on O2, but when I picked it up, there was just silence at the other end. Not sure if it’s some kind of scam or just something weird.

Somebody claiming they were from O2 told me about a 40% discount deal, but it turned out to be a total con.

01932 689697 - steer clear of this number at all costs!!! If you do catch on quick and clock they’re trying to scam you, waste their time by giving bogus bank details, like some random sort code and account info. When they then complain they can’t get in, just say “how’s it feel being on the receiving end of a con?” and put the phone down.

The moment I picked up, the person on the other end just dropped the call.

I can't believe these persistent fraudsters keep ringing me from a variety of different numbers. Don't they get it? I'm not gullible, and they're really not making any headway! It’s baffling how they can’t see they’re simply squandering their efforts.

Blimey, it's quite the saga! They were using an old ID of mine, which led them to pursue every single piece of my personal info, even my bank sort code and account numbers! After battling with their system for what felt like an eternity - a whole 50 minutes! - “Brian” had the cheek to label me a “bad person.” I had to ask why, and he claimed it was because I wasn’t providing the right information and was wasting their precious time. Oh, the irony of it all! Then, wouldn't you know it, “671” decided to give me a bell just a couple of minutes later. What a right palaver!
