I got a call from someone pretending to be Vodafone, claiming my number had been picked for a 40% discount on my phone bill. Total scam, obviously.

I got a call from someone saying they were with EE, but I'm not too sure if it was real or not? Does anyone know if this is a common way for them to get in touch? Bit suspicious if you ask me.

I got a call from someone saying they were from Vodafone, but the person had an accent and talked about a 50% off deal. I ended the call right away and tried calling back, but the number said it wasn’t in service. Then about 40 minutes later, another call came through from the Weybridge area, but the ending three digits were different. When I picked up, there was just silence. For sure, it’s a scam.
