I received an unsolicited call from a man with a South-East Asian accent who made some truly vile remarks. I promptly hung up on him, but he continued to call me incessantly while I attempted to access my contacts to block him. Before I could manage that, he switched to another number, also registered in Weybridge, which I chose to ignore and subsequently blocked. It didn’t stop there, though-he then began bombarding me with messages and video calls on WhatsApp from a number linked to Pakistan. I've reported and blocked that too. I have strong suspicions that this individual is utilising virtual numbers, as the caller's actual whereabouts don't seem to match any of the numbers. I’ve informed the police and OfCom, and I even had to get my phone provider to change my number. Additionally, I believe there’s a connection to a cold call I received earlier that day from yet another male, this time claiming to be from EE and attempting to scam me for payment with a number from Ashbourne.
