They called but didn’t leave any voicemail.

I kept getting calls from this number but they never left a voicemail. Since the area code was the same as mine, I figured it might be something legit, but turns out it wasn’t. Makes you wonder what the point was really.

So, this number rang me up even though my number’s supposed to be hidden and on the telephone preference service list. I’ve also got BT Call Guardian set up, so anyone calling has to say who they are before I pick up. When this caller got asked by the BT Call Guardian, they just hung up straight away. That’s a dead giveaway they were trying to scam or con me.
