Pretty clear this was one of those call centres, starting off with the usual "How’s your day going?" without giving any info about themselves. They said it was an 'annual life insurance review' to check if I’m getting a good rate. When I asked if they could actually alter the terms on an existing policy, they claimed yes, saying insurance companies don’t always update customers about new perks. But when I requested something in writing, they curtly replied, "We're not the Post Office, we don’t do that." Definitely sounded dodgy to me, likely a scam.

We've blocked this number, yet it still manages to call us multiple times daily, like 3 or 4 rings each day. This kind of behaviour is nothing but harassment and really ought to have some sort of penalty.

Today, this number phoned my elderly mum asking questions about my dad’s life insurance, even though he passed away not long ago. My mum thought it was about a policy he had and told the caller - an Asian woman - that I was handling everything, to which she quickly hung up. Sounds like a scammer trying to fish for info to me. I’ve seen a few similar complaints popping up on another reverse lookup site since this morning. Definitely dodgy in my view.

I have this answering machine that clearly says I don’t take any marketing calls and if it’s something else, just leave a message. When I checked, no message was left, so I’m certain it was either spam, a scam, or some telemarketing junk. If no message comes through, I usually block the number straight away.
