Today, we received a call from this number. It was apparent that someone was present on the line as we kept repeating hello until the caller abruptly hung up. Afterwards, we checked our post. The first piece of correspondence was from Roxburghe (UK) Limited, a debt collection agency working for AOL. I've been having a bit of a tiff with AOL for ages now, trying to cancel my account and challenging the final amount. So, it wasn’t exactly shocking to spot that 01932 number on their letter. By the way, did I hear something about carrier pigeons making a comeback?

Blimey! Ruxbrough is like a dog desperate for a scrap of meat, always after the dosh! They won't stop bombarding me with letters and ringing me up. We cut ties with that daft Tiscali ages ago, three years back to be precise, and now Tiscali's practically vanished into thin air!!!!!!!

I've been getting endless calls from these muppets, and it's driving me up the wall! If they're a debt collection agency, they're really throwing money down the drain-there's no way they're going to score anything from us lot! What a bunch of absolute plonkers!

It’s clear that Roxburghe is a debt collection agency, and it seems the individuals mentioned here are simply in denial about owing money or have issues with unpaid debts. As for the comments made by Plod2644, they’re quite frankly nonsensical. How on earth could these individuals possibly discern whether someone’s daughter has experienced an assault? Were they supposed to administer some sort of intervention over the phone? It’s baffling. Honestly, if you settled your debts, you wouldn’t be receiving calls from these people at all.

I received an unsettling call that was eerily similar, with no one speaking on the other end. It’s quite troubling, especially for a 14-year-old who’s just gone through a traumatic experience. Kudos to you for showing such thoughtfulness, truly.

Is it really so far-fetched to think a 14-year-old might purchase a second-hand phone? Imagine the surprise when they answer a call, only to hear nothing but silence on the other end! Given that, do you reckon it could deeply unsettle and frighten a young person who has recently experienced trauma? All of this is factual, so please take a moment to read the entire post instead of rushing to conclusions. Or maybe you've read it but are simply too dense to understand what's being conveyed.

Absolutely right, Henson. You’re quite the piece of work, aren’t you? People like you are just a part of what's dragging this country down the drain. You shell out ridiculous amounts without batting an eyelid, and it makes me wonder if you’ve ever thought to challenge those inflated prices. I can just picture you stuck in a jam in your Vauxhall or Mondeo, content to join the throngs on a Saturday or even on Boxing Day. What a right muppet!

This number seems to ring our home a couple of times each month and never leaves a message. Each time, they appear to be fishing for our password or account details. The moment we mention that we have no idea who they are, they suddenly go silent. We've made it clear that we consider this harassment, but to no avail. It's become really tiresome.

I'm in the same boat, folks. I had a massive argument with Tiscali about three years back regarding them charging us far more than our agreed monthly Direct Debit. About nine months in, they bumped it up by £12! So, I decided to cancel and asked for a refund, as it felt like they'd completely flouted our agreement (and I never did see that £12 back!). Next thing you know, Fuksburger start ringing me, just like everyone else here, and I'm choosing to entirely ignore them. They won't be seeing a single penny from us!

I just rang them again, but those folks were adamant about not revealing anything without us dishing out every bit of our personal info. Since we refused, they told us to hang up, which naturally got us quite riled up. We exchanged a few unflattering comments with the person on the other end, who seemed more interested in sipping on her fizzy drink than having a proper conversation!

I received a call from that very same number just after coming across reports suggesting Roxburghe is behind it all, which frankly doesn’t shock me. I've been grappling with issues involving The Post Office regarding my home phone and broadband. They've escalated things to debt collection without addressing the problem, which is so typical of them. Let them keep calling; it doesn't change anything on my end.

I've received multiple calls from this number. Each time I pick up and greet them with a "hello," the line cuts off immediately! It's incredibly annoying. Is there a way to lodge a complaint against them for harassing my personal phone?

I keep getting calls from this number every couple of days, and I’m keen to understand how these callers obtained our number, especially since we’ve registered it with the Telephone Preference Service. It’s quite baffling!

They called us a few times, wanting our details before they'd share theirs. We weren’t keen on that, so they ended up hanging up on us. Quite the nuisance, to say the least!

I keep receiving calls from this particular number every evening at about 5pm. It's strange because whenever I pick up, the line goes silent on the other end. Has anyone else encountered this? I've gone ahead and blocked the number, but I can still see it in my call history, and the calls continue to come through. It's puzzling how they even got hold of my mobile number in the first place, as I’m usually quite guarded about sharing it with anyone.

A couple of weeks back, we started getting correspondence from Roxburghe regarding an alleged debt to Tiscali. We sent the letters back marked as "refused," and now they’ve resorted to ringing us instead. I've promptly added their number to our blocked list. Goodbye, Roxburghe!

We received a call from this number around three this afternoon. When we answered, there was complete silence on the other end, almost as if the callers were hanging on for us to introduce ourselves or provide some sort of identification. Given that it was our business line they dialled, we greeted them in our typical manner by stating the company name, yet there was no response. After a short while, the call was abruptly terminated. To our surprise, just moments later, another call came through from a withheld number-likely the same individuals-and lo and behold, the exact same thing occurred.

I received a call but there was absolute silence on the other end, not even a voicemail left. When I tried ringing back, I was met with a prompt to press one for various options, but I ignored them all and still, not a soul spoke. Quite frustrating, to say the least!

We keep getting these same messages from this bunch, it's getting rather tiresome, to be honest. Now, they’ve started sending us texts, begging us to ring them back. It appears they’re chasing after cash linked to Tiscali, who actually refunded us what we were owed. Quite frankly, it seems they’d rather pester us than manage their own phone expenses!

I received a call from 01932332038, and as soon as I answered, they just cut off. When I rang them back, they demanded my personal details and ominously warned that they could seize my house. Quite unsettling, to say the least!

Received a silent call earlier. When I tried to call back, a recorded message asked me to input a payment reference number. I've got no idea what this is regarding, to be honest. Very perplexing!
