I got a message telling me to ring a number straight away, giving some kind of reference code, but when I dialled it, all I got was music playing.

This particular lot appears to be a debt collection agency. We had a rather unpleasant chat with them over the phone. The staff there seem to possess an alarming attitude problem, treating callers with utter disdain. As for me, I made sure to give them a taste of their own medicine!
