Picked up the phone but no one said a word on the other end.

I just got a call from this number. At first, it was completely silent, then a voice came on saying they were getting back to me about roof insulation. I’ve never asked about anything like that, plus our number isn’t listed anywhere. They hung up pretty quick after that. Definitely a cold call trying to fish for info. Don’t bother answering.

My mum got a call from this number about her roof insulation. They kept going on about some inspection done ages ago - which is rubbish, she never had one. Without asking her, they tried to set up an appointment. When they finally asked if she’d thought about sorting the work herself, she said she’d always check with her family first. Right after that, they just cut the call. Feels like they’re trying to scam older folks.
