I got a call from this number using my area code, which made it seem local. There was a recorded message saying it was BT, warning that my phone line might be hacked and I shouldn’t do any banking over the phone until it’s fixed. They told me to press 9 or ring a certain number to sort it out. It’s obvious this is a dodgy call, probably from overseas but pretending to be local. I’ve blocked the number straight away.
