I got a call from a bloke with an Indian accent saying he was from BT. He told me my router was sending out strange signals and said hackers were trying to get into my system. He wanted me to open up my computer to fix it. I ended up hanging up a few times because he wouldn’t back off, and then he passed the phone to another guy who spoke a bit clearer. Quite a pushy bunch!

Received several calls from a woman with a Caribbean accent on this number, along with calls from 01251478521, who said they were from BT. She kept telling me to open a Google page and claimed that someone in California had hacked my IP address. Even after I said I thought it was a scam, they kept ringing. The calls only finally quit when I put my phone on voicemail.
