this number has rung me twice within the last week and it showed up on my phone as ‘international’. a young guy with an accent i couldn’t place called me by my name and claimed to be from some kind of telephone preference service. he said he could block all unwanted calls coming from overseas if i confirmed my address, which he actually recited back to me including my postcode. when i told him it was a bit strange for them to be calling me like this, he just ended the call straight away.

These scam calls are just so frustrating, it's like dealing with total muppets every time.

Sounds like it’s the same one as 01932-229-923. They were sayin’ “we can help you stop those annoying calls”.
