RECEIVED A CALL FROM SOMEONE WITH A STRONG INDIAN ACCENT, CLAIMING HIS NAME WAS JOGN AND HE WORKED FOR THE "NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE". HE KEPT REPEATING HIMSELF WHEN I ASKED WHY HE WAS CALLING, EVEN THOUGH I EXPLAINED I ALSO WORK FOR THE NHS. THEN HE BEGAN ASKING ME QUESTIONS ABOUT MY VACCINATIONS. WHEN I TOLD HIM I DIDN'T BELIEVE HIS STORY AND SAID I’D BE REPORTING THE NUMBER, HE STARTED YELLING IN A LANGUAGE I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND. I ENDED THE CALL AND BLOCKED THE NUMBER STRAIGHT AWAY.

I got a call from a guy with a thick foreign accent, saying he was ringin from the NHS. He wanted to know if I’d had any side effects from the Covid jab and then asked about my Covid passport. Afterwards, he went on to ask if I had life insurance that covered Covid, claiming it was for their records. When I said yes, he wanted to know the insurer's name. I told him no way, that info’s private, but he kept saying it was needed for updating their files. I stood my ground and refused again. In the end, he just said thanks and wished me a good day. Well, at least he was polite about it!

Apparently they said it was about side effects from a Covid test, then suddenly switched to asking about life insurance. I told him I wasn’t going to continue ‘cause I didn’t trust he was with the NHS. He was quite polite when he ended the call, so maybe I got a decent one for a change. The number showed up as Weybridge. I reckon you can report Covid scams to Action Fraud, so I’ll give that a go. Already blocked the number, cheers to everyone who posted before me.

A man with a strong accent called saying he was from the COVID vaccination helpline. I kept listening, thinking maybe it was linked to Test and Trace or the NHS. Then he asked when I got my jab. I told him they’d already have that info on file. He responded, "Yes, we do. We want to hear if you had any side effects." I said no, I had none. Then he said, "God bless you." After that, I told him he was a spammer and hung up. It’s a worrying call as people might easily fall for it and get scammed, probably trying to steal money. This kinda thing really needs to be stopped.
