Got a random call from a guy with a South Asian accent who said his name was 'Karim'. He claimed he was ringing from 'BT Openreach' and told me my internet had been pinging error alerts to their servers for days. Since BT Openreach have nothing to do with my internet service, it was clear this was just some dodgy scam. I just ended the call, didn’t bother replying, and blocked the number straight away.
